Excursion itinerary

Morning Pick-up (Around 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.): “irst, a comfy air-conditioned minibus will pick you up from your hotel in Koh Samui. We’ll pick up other happy friends too! Then, we all go together to the pier of departure in Nathon, in the west of Koh Samui. Get ready for your boat trip!
Boat Trip & Snorkeling Fun! (Starting at 8:30 a.m.): Our big boat leaves around 8:30 a.m. and sails to Angthong Marine Park. After an interesting 90-minute boat trip, we arrive at Mae Koh island. Here, you’ll have time to explore the unique underwater world for about 45 minutes or enjoy the view over the Gulf of Thailand. This includes snorkeling equipment!
Explore Koh Mae Koh & The Emerald Green Lagoon!: Close to the deserted island of Koh Mae Koh (mother island), our boat will drop anchor. From here, a small dinghy will take you to a picturesque bay. You’ll have enough time to visit the beautiful green Emerald Lagoon! You can walk and explore the beautiful nature of this island on permanently installed wooden hiking trails.
Yummy Lunch Time! (On the Boat): While a generous, freshly cooked buffet with delicious local specialties is served for you on board, you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the beauty of the marine park with its 42 island groups and the azure sea in different colors. Now you will have enough time to dine in this fantastic atmosphere and after you will have time to explore the amazing surroundings by kayak and go kayaking!
Adventure at Koh Wua Talap! (Approx. 2 hours of fun!): You will then spend the afternoon on Koh Wua Talap island. Here, you can customize your activities! You can climb to the most breathtaking viewpoint in the Gulf of Thailand on Koh Wua Talap, snorkel in front of the island (using the snorkeling equipment), visit the Lotus Cave (Bua Boke) with beautiful stalagmite & stalactite formations, or simply relax and enjoy the beautiful white sandy beach. We will stay here for approximately 2 hours for all the fun!
Your Overnight Camping!: After your fun day, the boat will leave without you, but don’t worry! Our team will come back to collect you around 2:30 p.m. the next day at the same spot where they dropped you off to stay overnight. At the headquarters of the park on Koh Wua Talap, you have different choices for accommodation facilities like six simple bungalows and camping tents. They can provide tent, torch, sleeping bag, mosquito net, etc. (these are not included in the transfer price!). There is also a small restaurant/shop (open daily from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.) where you can buy food. Please note: If you book the accommodation in advance with us, there will be no refund from the Marine Park Office, and in case of a cancellation you have to pay the full amount for the accommodation!
Back to Samui! (Around 3:00 p.m. the next day – 5:00 p.m.): Around 3:00 p.m. the next day, we will start our return transfer back to Koh Samui. If the sea is calm, we should arrive there around 5:00 p.m. Lean back and let all the amazing impressions sink in when you see the rugged, rocky landscape and the water shimmering in different shades of blue. What an unforgettable romantic tour!
Evening Drop-off (Around 5:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. the next day): We will pick you up in an air-conditioned minibus from the pier of arrival (Nathon) and then guide you back to your accommodation you have deposited. Step by step, all other participants are collected during the return transfer. You’ll be tired but full of happy memories from your awesome Angthong National Marine Park adventure!

Pick-up time

After your booking for this day tour to Angthong Marine Park from Koh Samui, we’ll send you two happy messages! First, your booking confirmation. Then, a special email will tell you your exact pick up time! You’ll get this message by 6:00 p.m. the day before your selected tour date. If you book your trip super late (after 5:30 p.m. for tomorrow’s trip), you’ll get your pick up time message a little later, by 9:00 p.m. Just show this message to your friendly driver when they come to get you at your hotel’s general car park or accommodation for your return transfer. It’s super easy!

For everyone’s safety, pregnant person, or if a baby under 1 year old, can’t go on this boat tour.
Infants (under children age) can come for free of charge! Just let us know about them in the ‘comment’ box when you book.
We have life jackets for everyone on the big boat, so you can swim and play safely!
f the road to your accommodation is too steep or inaccessible for our car, we might ask you to meet us at a nearby, easy-to-find spot. Don’t worry! We’ll receive a Google Maps Link on your phone after you book to show you exactly where to go.
Sometimes, if the weather changes or there’s lots of traffic, our trip plan might change a tiny bit. But don’t worry, we always make sure it’s super fun and safe!

Cancellation policy

You can cancel your order free of charge up to 24 hours before your selected tour date (ToS: § 3).

For a free cancellation, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your tour date.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before your tour date, you must pay the full purchase amount.
If you do not reach the meeting point in time, the local operator is entitled to full payment.
Any changes made by yourself on your tour date can not be accepted free of charge.
Cancellations due bad weather based only on responsibility by local authorities.
Cancellations due illness require a medical certificate from a local doctor.
